顯示信息量大：與CRT相比，液晶內(nèi)窺鏡顯示器件沒有蔭罩限制，因此像素點可以做得更小、更精細；與等離子顯示相比，液晶顯示器件像素點處不需要像等離子顯示那樣，像素點間要留有一定的隔離區(qū)。因此，液晶顯示在同樣大小的顯示窗面積內(nèi)，可以容納更多的像素，顯示更多的信息。
